You Should Flash a NVID ROM.
Seems the battery of my prophet is not able to be re-charged. What should I do to heal the battery?

Hey Scott ! first of all you will have to need a wall charger of at least 500mah and then put the battery in your prophet and put it to recharging for atleast 10-15 continuous hours.
then turn the charger off and put your battery out from prophet for 2-3 minutes and then replaced it and turn on your prophet .
check this and then reply !
Hey my Prophet has no service when battery is 70% and above. I have to charge to 69% to get service. Can you help

It will just keep on searching for the network but will not find. Not until the battery is at 77% and less.

I have bought a new battery yesterday and have charged it inside my Prophet by a wall charger overnight (10hours). The red light is on when charging, it is still in red now, never turn to green. When I tar the 3rd pin (+) pole and 6th pin (-) pole of the battery by a meter it shows 0.36volt only, that means it was not charged up at all.
Pls help!

hi.
i have an issue with my prophet G3 (i-mate jamin).
i have flashed it with wizard G4 rom, and now it's stucked on i-mate blue splash screen with IPL 2.20, SPL 1.01, no GSM and OS some version (OS changes when i flash some roms). it can enter bootloader. i have tried original roms and NVID also, but it either stucks at 95% or finishes with "congratulations", but nothing hapens. is there any other way to fix it except JTAG, because i can't find anyone in serbia who could do it?

Charge your battery while your Prophet is On then check whether your charging is increasing or not.
And if you want to check your battery by a meter then you should tar the pins in this order ;
1 empty
2 +
3 +
4 -
5 -
6 empty
ok !

you will have to flash a NVID Rom which completes 100% & when it finishes then you will have to make a manual Hard Reset.

i have already tried sveral NVID Roms, but every Rom stucks at 95%. and about my method for flashing: i start bootloader (power+cam), then connect with the cable, then start RUU.exe (or whatever the name is). if it fails, i do the soft reset with cam button and start in bootloader again... i have tried hardSPL, but not success. tried hard reset, but it turns me into the bootloader again....
p.s. i am ausgemachte, too....

i have tried jafwm, but it won't flash anything on my prophet.... it's flashed with wizard's G4 rom so jafwm detects it as "wizard 1.01" and no flasher for prophet. i have tried to flash wizard's roms also, but no success.... is there any other program for flashing, or some full version of jawfm that can rewrite SPL?

it isn't your SPL's Problem. It is your IPL's Problem.
but i can change IPL. it was 1.01 after my mistake. now i can change it to 1.00 and 2.20. but SPL always stays 1.01... however, how can i fix this IPL/SPL problem? i have some version of JAFWM, but it won't flsh my prophet, because it detects it as "wizard 1.01".....

why don't you try to flash NVID ROM by using JAFWM.
there is a method to downgrade your ipl/spl. but it needs your prophet to start. so, it would not work in your case !

thanks zheeshan, but jafwm won't install anything on my prophet because of the mess i made with wizard rom. it detects it as a wizard, so anything related to prophet can not be installed with jafwm. also tried wizard's roms, but errors occure and stops installation.... jafwm is useless on my phone. is there some tric to force installation in jafwm?

firstly, unpack all these rar files.
First of all you will have a atleast 50% charged battery. then starts your prophet in bootloader then connect it with your pc.
then starts ruu first of all with unpacked ipl file and then unpacked spl file.
when all the above steps will be completed then again starts in bootloader and then flash the NVID ROM which i gave you earliar.
when it finishes, restarts and enjoy !

IPL has changed to 2.20, but SPL didn't... it's still 1.01... NVID rom still stucks at 95%...

Yes ! you can downgrade your spl.
first of all you will have to download this file :

then unpack this .rar file at a place in your computer then connect your prophet with your computer and copy the following two files on your prophet's main storage :
1.Cert_SPCS.rar
2.EnableRapi.rar
when you have successfully copied these two files in main storage then starts downgrade(MS DOS batch file) and follow the instructions,.....
when it finishes then your prophet starts with a downgraded ipl and spl.
after that you can flash any rom which has spl 2.20 & then enjoy !

i have tried both hardSPL's.... G3 finishes at 100% and says it's succesfull, but nothing changes (SPL stays 1.01). G4 says that it's not for my phone and can't even start (that's why i'm sure that it's the G3 device)....

First of all copy the two files which i have mentioned earliar to your main storage then make a soft reset to your prophet and when it starts then you should not open any other application and just connect your prophet with your computer and starts the Ms-Dos file.

After completing the downgrade successfully the SPL still the same that is 3.08.0001

first of all, thanks for your kind patience and giving us time to resolve your issues.
The Best radio ROM for Prophet in my opinion is this (02.20.21).It provides better service and the battery drain is much lower than other radio roms.
